Lilli is walking!
Cyprus a 4 generation vacation.
A little while ago in the I was able to fly to Cyprus with my Grandparents, my mom and my children. We rented an apartment a 5 min walk from the beach and had 9 days full of sun.
It was really neat that my family was able to spend so much time with the kids and really were able to get to know them. Which can also mean some time of hardship and that they've got a good taste of little miss strong will. I really treasure the time we had together and know that a vacation in this constellation will most likely not happen again. Now knowing how expensive food in the supermarkets is in Cyprus I think that we would have been better of in a hotel but we had a nice apartment and it worked well. Needless to see that with two old people and two babies there is minimum relaxation but to be at the beach everyday and to see the much needed sunlight every single day was great. The island itself is not the prettiest or I should say it could be much prettier if locals would not have spoiled it with terrible looking buildings but the beach and the color of the water was amazing and second to none in Europe. I don't even want to write about our horrible experience on our return date and that our flight was cancelled but after all it did not ruin the very nice time we had together.
Other tourists were mainly from Scandinavia, Russia and Great Britain. On Sunday I was able to go to an English speaking Scandinavian church close to the apartment and experienced a service among people from all over the world (mainly great Britain but also india and Scandinavia) which was great and I had to think about what it will be like when one day all of god's people will worship him together.

Liam 3rd Birtday
Liam is 3 years old already. He had a great Birtday. The morning started with him telling me that the sun shines in his room but there was no sunshine in my room.
While I allowed him to watch something on TV "the postman" brought a big package from far away from his Papa. Liam opened the door so quick but the postman was gone already. He knew it was a package from his Daddy right away. A scooter was probably the thing he wanted most of all.
Just after, the babysitter arrived with a big garbage truck for Liam and in the afternoon we met with his friends for some cake and fun! It was a great day even though he started to feel a little sick already. Hopefully he feels better really soon and his cough will go away.
May the sun always shine in this boys life.
