Liam's 4 th Birthday Party

This year we celebrated Liam's Birthday a few days early because we had Lance's brother Brent and his family visiting from Ohio. It was a great turnout with lots of smiles and a very happy Liam.
I made him a pirate ship chocolate cake which he loved looking at just as much as eating.
We are so thankful that this boy is in our lives and I thank God every day for him.

Thanks to everyone for making Liam's 4th Birthday so special. And thank you for all the mail too! especially for the cards from Great Britain. On his actual Birthday he was surprised with a new bicycle and Lance and I have been very proud of how good he does with it.

There is a monkey in my backyard...

he usually sits high up in the trees and has mastered his climbing skills. Occasionally he is seen with his little sister who can climb into the tree but then yells for help because she can not get down.
Seriously where has time gone? I can not believe that my baby is turning 4 this month!!! Seems like yesterday that he was born.
At the moment he is really focused on his "daddy" and wants to play with him as much as possible. He also constantly seeks his approval and praise and gets it a lot. I am so happy that Lance is Liams daddy and could not ask for a better one. He is such a good example of a great man to his son and I am proud of him. I am looking forward to more family time in the future and I know it will have a huge impact on our children.
Just recently Lance returned from a trip to the states and Liam was ecstatic to see him. He insisted that he would sleep next to him in his bunk bed which he did and was so happy.
Lance brought a baseball cap back as a gift and Liam has not taken it off since (-; He even wants to sleep with it. I am so blessed with those boys and can not wait to add another one.

and since about 4 weeks she says "Ich lieb dich Mama"(I love you) on a regular basis, of course she has said it to Lance and Liam and also Oma as well.
She is very loving, likes to impress her older brother whom she adores. She loves to put on a show for people and make funny faces. She is very caring (esp. with her dolls) and sees and hears everything!
